We love Blounts so much we drive from CT (about 1 hour 15 min) to go there! We have yet to have anything we don't love. Our favorites are the spicy fish taco and the whole belly clams. Yesterday they were out of whole bellys which was a bummer (wish they would have put it online). The calamari, fried shrimp aling with their kale crunch slaw and fries are really great! Mt granddaughtet got the small lobster roll and liked it but has had better she said. ( she is 11) They say that they are known for their giant lobster rolls. You earn points for eating them and then get hats, mugs etc. There is something about the breading that makes the fried food a knockout! The staff is always friendly and aim to please. We go to clam shack on the water( its a big food truck) Its a very relaxed environment where you order your food, get a buzzer and head to an open table. They have picnic tables with umbrellas over looking the marina. They also have a beer and wine truck with local beers it looked like( i don't drink) Blounts is kids friendly with grilled cheese, chicken nuggets etc. They are also dog friendly. You could really make a day of it because 2 blocks or so away is the charming town center with cute shops. Dont miss out its a no brainer.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I can not give enough praise to the wonderful people over at Blount Clam Shack. I ordered the Giant Lobster Roll and let me say it was definitely GIANT! Unfortunately it did not last long enough for me to get a picture... I'm not sure it even hit the plate! The portion was a half pound of delicious lobster meat, I chose to have it served with warm butter, it is also available with a dill mayonnaise. The price was excellent as well, costing slightly more than many rolls you will find in the area with a much more generous portion of lobster. I couldn't even see the bun, I thought they had forgotten it! The size of the roll was unbelievable, truly a sight to behold. I cannot say what else was good as I only ordered the lobster roll but it is worth the visit. I will certainly be returning for more. Also they have a lobster roll reward program some people may enjoy taking advantage of, Cheers!

Everything was priced good and it was by the water. Eat there and enjoy the views. I watched the employees Clean & sanitized every table every time someone got up and left which is great. I haven’t seen a place so thorough with cleaning. I had the hot lobster roll & clam chowder. They were both pretty good. Yum

Pricey but so worth every penny!!!!!!! Go and enjoy yourself. Treat yourself to some of the best fresh ingredients. Can't go wrong. Take your meal sit by the beach and love every bite

If you want delicious seafood for a good price, and a waterfront view to eat it at Blount is for you! Their seating area is also wheelchair accessible and there is a wheelchair accessible portable bathroom across the parking lot. If you are in a manual chair my only note is the ground is covered in broken shell bits so make sure you have someone with you to give you and extra hand here and there. I needed my dad to give me a few shoves in my portable electric wheelchair to get to and from the table.
