Edit 3/8/21 the food and service has been spoty in the last few months. Over cooked food, missing items and just poor customer service (just a quick note that I have noticed that since most restaurants have gone to drive thru only in some cases things have gone down hill with quality and service) Fast food style fish and chips, the food is good the staff is very friendly and helpful the young guy cleaning the dinning area went above and beyond to help us I would recommend this place just from that experience alone
Hats off to the entire staff of this Long John Silver's! My food was hot, fresh and fantastic! It certainly made the 32 Mile round-trip well worth it! I wish there was an LJS closer to me, I'd eat there every day!
I ordered fries as my side. Not mased potatoes. Worse fries ever.! looks like they cooked them 30 min ago and put then in the box. They were cold, mushy, and un edible. If i was that restaurant I would be embarrassed to serve those as fries.nSalmon was unexpectedly enjoyable. Not over cooked or over salty.nNever order fries unless you can watch them pull yours from the fryer.
This Long John Silvers is like playing Russian roulette. One time you go through and get your order and it's hot, perfect, but another time you get cold food that's the wrong order. When it's good, it's GOOD, but when it's bad, it's BAD.nEdit : AND the hush puppies are super tiny. I remember down south the hush puppies being about the size of a golf ball, these are about big around as a quarter.
I had not had Long John Silvers in years. I stopped and had a fish dinner. So glad I did...it was very good.
