Customer service was great.FOOD was #offthechain good!. we had a variety of meats - brisket, bone in chicken , pull pork and sides: slaw, greens with the pork in it, green beans Mac and cheese., buttery bread.. no complaints. all was seasoned well.. great portions, and they also gave us dessert which was delicious. will definitely come back when in town.
Real good. REAL good. The brisket fell apart in my mouth just right without being dry. See attached pics. This was my first visit, but they were very welcoming and made us a family meal with mac and cheese and some beans. Everything was very top notch. Tasty as hell, filling, and fairly affordable for a party of 2. Their whole menu is kinda geared towards families or large parties. A++ would order again.
I ordered for the first time today. The ribs & especially the chicken drumstick was way undercooked! I was scared to take more than one bite. I saw that right away, so I know the preparer saw how pink it was! I don’t think I’ll ever be back. The collard greens are laughable. And they’re a little too expensive for the value & portions. The banana pudding is the only thing worth the money on their menu. Workers are always friendly.
Wonderful barbecue! Reminds me of when I lived in Kansas City, delicious. Only thing they're missing is onion rings on the brisket sandwich. Ribs were delicious. Really quick too.
Ordered through Door Dash. We had the city sampler. The pork, turkey, and sausage were fresh, smoky, and juicy. Greens and chili are good sides. Far better than last night's disaster from rival Slows Barbecue, which was dessicated and inedible. Go with City!
