Sheldon Cleaners

Came in on November 5 to drop my wedding dress off to be cleaned. Met with a nice lady who set up an account with me. After that, I presented a coupon to her, which is the $50 off wedding gown cleaning and preservation. Mind you, the total was $200, so $50 is quite a bit to be taken off.nThe lady said she can keep the coupon aside and ask her manager about it because she didnt have the authority to take any coupons off. I said okay and completed the $200 transaction.nI went to pick up my dress a couple weeks later and a different lady was working the counter. I asked her about the coupon and she said the same thing as the first lady did and that the manager would call me.nI let 2 to 3 weeks slide by and got no call. I decided to put matters into my own hands and called the store right when they opened. A lady picked up and I asked if I could speak to the manager. She noted that she was the manager and I told her the debacle.nShe then said that the ladys at the front desk were supposed to call me and I told her what they told me. She said she cant do anything but put the coupon towards a future purchase.nI was confused and a little irritated at that answer. I asked if the coupon amount could just be written in a check and mailed to me. She said no.nThis was the first time I had ever stepped foot in a Sheldon Cleaners. Had it been $5 or $10 I wouldn't have written this. But since it's not and I put $200 towards something and gave a coupon FROM THEM towards the purchase, I am just beyond angry.nI'm not going back, and I advise people to be cautious when they decide they want something cleaned by them.nBy the way, I had just recently received in the mail ANOTHER coupon for preserving my dress, that I ALREADY DID in November.

Pricing is beyond outrageous. However, I love that I can drop something off at 8 am and pick it up by 5pm most days. So I guess you do get what you pay for!

My husband is a wounded vet, i take care of him, he cant be left alone for long, so I took the clothes here for the wash and gold service since it's closer to our place.i thought since it was a professional cleaners,that they would do a great job.. the people working were very nice and friendly, but our clothes were very wrinkled when we got them back, some of the clothes had shrunk, they didn't stack them neatly in the bag, some clothes were on top and some were shoved around the sides of the bag,any which way.. I wish now that i would've driven a little further to the other place to get it done. I'm very disappointed, and now i have to buy my husband 2 new sweat outfits, since they shrank his. Thank for NOTHING..

Just picked up brand new tuxedo shirt that I asked be laundered and pressed with medium starch. It was done with light starch and it virtually looks impressed. The pleats on the front are wavy and not stiff and totally flat as a formal shirt should be. Very disappointed and was told that I could not get a refund. I can't have it re-done because it's needed for a concert tomorrow afternoon. Big bummer!

PERFECT - IN, OUT, CLEANED PRESSED AND ON MY WAY. AND NOW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TOO! WELL DONE!
