I have only been to one other Blaze Pizza (in California) but this one in Mt. Pleasant, MI DID NOT disappoint. The pizza was great, the crew was very friendly, and the service was quick. I highly recommend this place for anyone who even remotely enjoys pizza.
I intended to be a customer but went for a short walk first. Manager had my car towed when he saw I didn't enter the restaurant immediately even though there were other stores in the plaza and 25 empty parking spaces on a wed afternoon. The manager refused to let me use a phone or even use pen and paper to get the tow company's phone number or call for a ride. Refused to even give his name. He left a senior lady stranded. Lack of common courtesy and no response from any manager. I used to bring guests here but I'll never return.
The food is not bad at all but when ordering my pizza, I ordered a two topping, which I chose pepperoni and mushroom for. When the worker cooking the pizzas pulled my pizza out, I had noticed it looked a little plain. I was watching the woman worker go over all of the pizzas though so I figured she would catch a mistake if their was one and when she got to mine, she searched all of the pizzas like she had obviously seen that there were no mushrooms on mine and that the paper did not match my pizza, but still continued to choose the pizza with just pepperoni and give it to me instead of fixing the problem - when I know she seen it. Yes, restaurants get busy, especially this one being so close to campus but please remember, if you are working within this restaurant - you are working in the food business, people are paying for their food and expecting what they pay for. Please be respectful that.
Jack, Christian and Austin were very courteous, fun and made my friend and I a great pizza! We definitely will be back! Thank you guys you did a great job!!
Employees are all super nice and efficient. Pizza is great too. Never had a bad experience at blaze!
