AVOID this company!!! Unless you don't mind paying for them damaging your furniture out of pure carelessness, working for 5 minutes..then sitting and smoking for 10 minutes. Working again for 5 minutes and then finding a place to hide and sit on their cell phones for another 10.nAfter being flooded out on Wixom Lake, Hammer was called and they promised the world...but delivered very little. My family and friends were at my home to help clean up and demo with me. The more my family worked, the more the Hammer people sat and took breaks. They were at my home for 2 days but only worked about 1/2 day each day. Starting late and leave early on both. After watching them for 2 days, I had enough. I'm very sorry I gave them $5,000 as a down payment and will not be refunded what is owed to me.nSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!nSTAY AWAY FROM HAMMER

My house had water damage in August when I was out of Michigan. Half of the house was damaged with big holes on the ceiling and walls and damaged cabinets and floor.... The insurance agency sent their partner restoration company to do the damage control, which was good. However, when it came to the repair phase, I was frustrated with the unresponsiveness demonstrated by that restoration company. So I fired them and I approached Hammer Restoration to repair my house. I'm so happy that I made the right choice! The communication with the office manager Heather Nostrant was very pleasant, timely and enjoyable. Heather is a wonderful person to communicate throughout the repair time. Matt and Greg who repaired my house are AMAZING. They are helpful, responsive and very professional. They can fix everything! My house is now brand new and I really love it. I strongly recommend Hammer Restoration If you experience water damage (I think they can fix other damage as well). Be sure to work with Heather. She is a great communicator.

Had a question about a $40,000 restoration that they did for me. Didn't bother to call me back. I guess they have their money and end of service. Disappointing, very disappointing
