South Airport Auto Wash

Closed all the time.nCan't maintain the place.nPrevious owner Dan was 1000 better.nI will never go back.

UPDATE: The owner responded as you can see below but tried to shame me by telling me that I ignored all of the instructions. They didn't read my review thoroughly: 1) I did remove my hitch. 2) The instructions they have posted are ambiguous (quad cab and 8ft bed is different than quad cab or 8ft bed). I am pleased that they started following google reviews now that their reviews are bad. I am editing my original review by removing the last sentence as the manager is responsive however exactly like the other reviews indicated.nnORIGINAL Review: Please do not use this car wash. I stopped and tried it because it was on my way home and I wish I hadn't. When I pulled up to the kiosk for the automatic wash, I saw a sign that said remove your trailer hitch. I thought that was weird, but I put it in reverse so I could get out of the vehicle to do so. I pulled up and read more warnings about the car wash (this should have been a sign) indicating that no vehicles longer than 19'. I don't know how long my truck is but it had further explanations like 'no quad cab and 8ft. bed.' I had a 5.5 bed and a quad cab so I figured I should be fine and I've never been in an automatic car wash before that didn't work so I assumed that I should be fine. NOPE! After pulling-in I heard a SNAP as my sideview mirror was almost ripped off by the car wash mechanism so I quickly opened my windows and folded-in the mirrors. I watched as the mechanism came around the rear end of my vehicle and got caught on the bumper. I decided at this point that I would forego my $6 and leave with a soapy truck rather than let an automatic car wash with NO SAFETY mechanism keep smashing into my vehicle.

I used the vacuums, and they were fine. .75 for a few minutes was the right price. The vacuums weren't the most powerful, but they did a decent job.

My car was pretty dirty, but this place got about 25 percent of the dirt off of my car. I went around the corner to another wash and paid the same amount and my car is clean and shiny now.
