Went snowshoeing. Not at all crowded and probably didn't need the shoes as the trails were well packed down....until we went on one that had little travel and then were happy we had the shoes. They could do a little better on trail marking for first time visitors....but it's a beautiful place with access to the ocean.
We love this place! So beautiful and well maintained.
$5 per person fee is not a donation. Trails are well marked and very flat. Beach viewpoint is nice but not unique. You absolutely must have bug spray. Seemed like most people here were going to the beach - not looking for nature.
Variety of trails with signs offering brief but sufficient information on the environment. Accessible to families.
Nice place and plenty of parking. Kayak rentals possibly available, but didn't see a worker. Some trails had a boardwalk.
