The details and effort made to preserve the island history shows. A nice stroll on the trails behind the museum too. Admission is by donation. Hitty's Cafe is there too so you can grab a bite to eat. The flowers around the museum are gorgeous. The volunteers helpful and friendly.

A neat local museum. You have to take a ferry ride to get there The ferry runs every 4 hours probably more time than you need. If you want a leisurely afternoon you should do it. Bring a book. You'll have a couple hours to kill after you visit the museum.

Rich in history a great spot to browse and soak in a past of beauty and hard work...

I just wish we had had more time to stay here. I want to come back and learn more about the island. The documentaries made by the folks who run this place are very interesting.

Like the Islesford Museum, this one is trying to preserve the history of the island through photographs and artifacts. The museum is a nice walk from the boat and is behind a small café.
