I love this salon! It's a beautiful, clean building near downtown. I go to Ali for balayage (a type of highlight), and could not be happier!

I went to see Haley @ The Mane for a balayage & haircut. The appointment prior to this one, she repeatedly talked about how bright blonde I would be able to get next appointment, so I was excited! I had my pics & my plan & was ready to go. My “bright blonde”, thick impactful money pieces I asked for turned into 2 tiny little slimy bright orange pieces that went to mid cheek then quit. When I spoke to Haley about how it wasn’t what I was looking for, she never once accepted responsibility or apologies, she made excuses about how my hair just has to be orange before it goes blonde, which most of us know, but I can also tell you I was past that point & she was the one that told me how bright blonde she was gonna get me. The color was nothing like what I asked for, the appointment to just cover it up was really awkward & unpleasant, I could tell she had a real grudge that she was having to fix it. I also had about 7” of hair cut off this appointment, which inspired me to order a flat iron. OMG. When my flat iron came, the travesty I discovered w/ my hair was unreal. The left side of my head is insane. The left side of my head is about 1” shorter than the right, till all of a sudden, my hair gets 2-3” longer, so there’s a big, crooked, uneven long chunk hanging down that’s then longer than anything else. It’s insane & I hope I can include pics, this haircut is nuts & what’s more nuts? Haley of course denies that it’s her fault. She tells me I must have asked her to part my hair the wrong way, like there’s a way to part my hair that would make it make sense to have 3” of difference in hair lengths on the left side of my head! So, no fixes, no refunds, only a stylist that refuses to accept that she messed up & remedy the problem. Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, but if one happens here (it seems likely it will), expect to have to live w/ & pay for that mistake, cuz it won’t be fixed. Below are the color I asked for, cut I asked for & what I went home w/. I added the pic w/ the ruler in it, it is a pic of my face she posted on social media trashing me for being dissatisfied and claiming my hair looked great when I left. You can clearly see it is very uneven.
