I drive a 2020 Yaris which is small, but should not leave me trapped in the automatic car wash. We were just pulling out and the door shut and would not open. Luckily my passenger was able to open their door (I could not as it would've damaged the driver's door) and push the manual release. There was another customer behind us who assumed we did something. Between the embarrassment (and the realization I may have had to call the fire department or wait on the car wash to send someone to fetch me if I hadn't had a passenger) I won't be back. It's a shame because it's a pretty decent automatic carwash, but the scenario came too close. The place will ever after feel like getting into a creaky elevator.
Everything worked the way it should. It is a touchless automatic wash along with base for you to wash your car on your own if you want. I did not use the vacuums but they were plentiful.
Well run and everything works as expected.
