The place around the museum, the trail, walkway, not to mention Batavia Creamery right off the road is a sure crowd pleaser

I was really amazed and how much cool stuff there was to see in this little museum. Well worth stopping in to check out.

Nice little history of Batavia Museum. They are working on raising money for an expansion. They have many more items they are not able to display because of space. The main Museum is an old train depot from the 1800's. They have some unusual items, a bed and dresser from an insane asylum that Mary Todd Lincoln stayed in.

Batavia Depot Museum.nWhat a cool place. Alot of exhibits for the space. Full basement with the full history of the area including Native Americans. The Depots history is cool. Volunteers on duty for questions. Clean restrooms. My favorite is the caboose, open to public..nCheck out the abbreviated hours before you stop in. Well worth your time.nOur American history is Very, Very important !!
