Great station I film railfanning for my YT channel the photo token in February 8 2020, I still go there tough ud83dude02
Nice and clean station. you can easily see schedules and sponsors hanging on the wall and books while your waiting inside. although when bells are ringing to warn people that the inbound train is arriving i see a phew late people running thru the tracks and almost hit by a train to make it in time when a inbound train comes. and a phew people that miss the train. i always go on my phone to see the Metra schedules at metrarail.com to see what time comes a metra inbound in Schaumburg to union station so i can get there on time. Remember people. always go to metrarail.com and pick what station are u from and what station are you departing at. and see the schedules what time does a inbound or outbound train comes. because .don't be these people who always running late and misses there inbound train or people who runs across the tracks where the inbound train comes and almost gets hit by the train to make it in time. please always check the schedules what inbound or outbound is gonna arrive!
Bathrooms are showing their age. Poor lot maintenance on the Roselle side, especially when it snows. Staff is nice.
Good station, very clean!
Badly needs an ATM. No idea why Schaumburg won't put one in, Palatine has one so why not here especially it being a big hub that this one is??? makes no sense to me. People want to possibly use it in urgent situation when buying tickets or to buy stuff at that cafe inside.nnThe coffee shop/cafe there serves bad coffee IMO. The guys intend well, are very friendly, have a decent espresso machine so nothing against them personally but the beans they use must be cheap...they're horrible coming from a guy who likes and has had lots of good beans before. I don't buy coffee there, it's just not that good. They need to re-eval their coffee and how to make it right...and what real good beans really are (and good does not mean Starbucks beans BTW). It's disappointing when you have a shop at your disposal right in the train station but sad when the coffee and mochas are bad due to lack of understanding coffee by the owners. They just need to talk to some of us coffee experts :) If you're gonna serve coffee make sure it's good and by good standards, not just your standards.
