Kensington

It's not in the best condition. The station at 115th/ Kensington could really use a facelift. I don't remember it too well from last time I used it, but I think I remember peeling paint and graffiti. I don't remember how well lit the station was, as I've only passed by it at night, never actually getting on or off there. This could be a great station if it were renovated.nnBut on the plus side, it's well-serviced, with all University Park and Blue Island-bound trains (as well as inbound trains on these routes) stop here. Unlike the other stops in between 63rd and 115th, which are mostly only made by Blue Island trains and select University Park trains, 115th is well-serviced.

Just be very careful parking around this station. My car was vandalized at this station in early July. Chicago Police doesn't bother coming out, they take the report over phone. No Metra Police to be found.

This station is always well lighted and there has not been any trouble here..

You can transfer to the Metra Electric Blue Island line to Blue Island. Then transfer to the Rock Island line to Joliet, IL or to Chicago.
