Dolton Police Department

My car ran out of gas this morning. Today is February 26, 2020. I was afraid at first to call the police to help me with my disabled vehicle. Whomever the dispatcher was, she made me feel calm even though I was nervous. On my way to work I ran out of gas on Sibley Blvd. A police officer by the name of Lorenzo N. came to the rescue in less than 5 minutes. He first tried to push my vehicle out of traffic. Then he took me to the Citgo gas station up the street. He then filled my can, drove me back to my car and put the gas inside my vehicle for me. Within that small length of time I shared with him a little bit about myself (old lady lol) I guess I'm trying to say, it was an awesome experience without anxiety and being overwhelmed which I suffer from.

Mayors office and Village hall do not take any action on complaints citizens been posting about retail businesses breaking laws and looting hundred of thousands of dollars of sales taxes from local community. Theses businesses writes big campaign check and gives donations in cash to mayor. It is pay to play politics. Similar like the Club in downtown scenario. These 2 gas stations in Dolton are on main commercial corridor of Dolton and they sell loose cigarettes and out of state illegal cigarettes. Marathon gas station at 1421 East Sibley in Dolton and Citgo at 154th and cottage grove are protected for selling pack of cigarettes from out of state. mayor borrows money from bond company and complaints about budget shortfall while these businesses do not hire local citizens and loot citizens of sales taxes. If you do not trust black people do not hire them but please be a honest business person and do not loot us. do not poison black community by selling loose cigarettes, out of state illegal cigarettes, drug paraphernalia. You care about collecting every dime and nickel from black people by any means. No ethics, no moral, no principle. Why is Dolton police not enforcing the law??? Are they been told by mayor not to act tough with these 2 gas stations???? Police chief you and your fellow members had taken oath to protect citizens and hope you can raise above the political pressure.

I can't really say much about the dolton police however One of the women that works at the front desk and documents department in this police department are so messy unprofessional rude and and in my opinion lack the ability to handle documents in a proper manner and tries to cover her mistake by making it your fault she talks nasty don't want to do her job and I personally set in the lobby and heard her complain about every person that called in to the police department that required her to have to do her job I personally heard her say about someone calling to make a report although they couldn't make one over the phone when she hung up she said I hate a snitch I wish I could post her name on here but shes very unprofessional and acts like she don't want to do the job she herself applied for and the sad part about it is in the time I set there she really either had nothing to do or really refused to do her job because she was just strolling Facebook and talking on her cellphone now wondering my documents got messed up

I have never been to this wonderful city but would like to thank the lowlife that hacked my checking account. Hope you enjoyed your KFC and Wendy's, get a life and get a job pos

If it was possible to give zero stars or negative ones I would! My sister in law and niece have been abused and tormented by Dolton resident Tom Arnold of Dante Avenue for months! He has been taken to jail numerous times yet Doltons finest refuse to help 2 defenseless women and his own daughter... they have orders of protection that mean nothing to these officers! Their attitudes are lazy and rude and blame the victims! Where is the Chief of Police in Dolton? Where is his leadership... someone must investigate... it's appalling!!
