They were gentle and respectful when they had placed me under arrest. They let me use my cellphone to call anyone I needed. I give it a two star because the bed wasn’t very comfortable and it was a bit cold. They also didn’t have food at the time ud83dude12.

Me and my wife went to the Blue Island IL police station to tell the police officers their that our apartment was targeted for a burglary and was planning on killing me, my wife and kids by shooting up our apartment, instead of helping us officer stone and sergeant Columbus, alone with the rest of the officers laugh at us and assume me and my wife had mentle issue and was taking medicine, they even ran a background check on me and to see if I had a record in which was clean than sergeant Columbus ran a license plate check on my vehicle to see if I had tickets or a expire license plate but like with my background check everything was legit, however it did not end their they made racist remarks as well, however moral of this post if you considering living in blue island il do not because they are coporruted and working with the gang members, so if you find yourself in need of help do not call the blue island il police department for nothing because they will not help you, however participate in the crime and blame it all on you and with that being said you have been warn.

Very polite service at the police station. The officer who helped me was respectful and patient.

I'm appalled at how my son and I was treated by racist officer Stone. Instead of assisting he did a background check on my son to see if he could arrest him. After an altercation my son's car was on on flats so I was trying ,to call my insurance for a tow truck. My sons car wasnt on a busy street and was not blocking traffic. Cars were able to go around. I explained to officer Stone that I worked for the county and I know my rights since he threatened to call and have my son's car towed which would have cost us towing and pound fees. Going through my insurance was free. Officer Stones concern was which department I worked with at the county. I asked could he call a sergeant or higher to the area which he stated they don't come out of the office and I have to go to them. My son ended up driving away on flats to seek help. I went into the office days later and gave a complaint to the corporal but I'm going to write the state's attorneys office and higher on these racist tactics and ask that these reviews be read also. I advise anyone to go further than writing a review. The days of officer friendly are over and they do not serve and protect. We need protection from these racist cops.
