I like going here because even though I really love stores like Lowe's they're just too big and have way too many products to navigate through. I rather go to a small Ace hardware any day because everything is compact and easy. And the staff is almost too friendly or maybe they're just super bored because moving through maybe 30 ft of the store I got asked by three different associates if I needed help. Obviously this is not a knock on them. And even though I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for and where it was, an associate was able to show me there were more places to look for what I was looking for. Especially like this location over others because at the register there are some drinks like root beer, cream soda and orange cream soda that I can't find anywhere else.
I had them at 4 stars for Good selection and service. Until this week when I went to buy grass seed. There were 5 bags on the shelf for 11$ a piece so I picked up two. When checking out they said they were 21 a piece. I showed the manager who refused to sell them at the listed price. He said they were in the wrong spot.... false advertising. I've had two bad encounters there in the last year and both were price issues. The 7 years before that never had an issue....
Friendly and convenient
Excellent customer service!! I really appreciated the patience and genuine desire to assist me with buying a garage heater. I couldn't visualize 95 square feet, so the employee looked up a room with that sq footage to help me. He was looking up heaters, so I had no idea that he was looking up a room until he told me to look. Thank you :)
The commercials aren't kidding. The workers will be on you like car dealers and offering to help as much as possible, which I find very kind. They pick up on the fact that I'm in a hurry, when I am, and step back a couple steps just letting me know that they are there if I need them. Everyone is always so kind with every visit which makes it a pleasant place to walk into
