Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

The food here is always so delicious! The dine in experience is always so much fun. The cooks are all very entertaining and friendly. I’ve never had any issues prior to this evening when I ordered carry out. The girl at the counter when you walk in helped me with my carry out order. I paid and was expecting change and she didn’t give my change back. When I asked for it, she told me that the change is usually for a tip for the cook. I felt the interaction was a bit of an argument over giving me my change back. There was a gentleman waiting that overheard our conversation and he told me the same thing happened to him before! No one should ever be made to feel obligated to leave a tip especially when the food you order is carry out.

Just wow. Had no complaints on the entire experience. Staff was very friendly and we got seated within 5 minutes despite being told 25. Chef was fun and put on a great display getting interaction from the entire table. Food tasted great, serving sizes were huge, and the price was very reasonable given everything above.

Our dinner was absolutely fabulous. The food was great. Portions were large. We have had a recent death in the family and we really needed to let off some steam. Our cook was excellent and made us all laugh which was much appreciated and greatly needed. I just want tell them - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Love to visit this restaurant. The grill chef always makes the the experience great. I had the lobster & ribeye. And my Granddaughter had the pick 3. Food was not over seasoned and real tasty.

I always love going to eat at Ichiban! They have great staff, super friendly and they always refill your drinks quickly. It's also very clean.
