Bernie is the only one who cuts, styles, and colors my hair exactly how I like. She gives her full attention and her love for her work through creativity is so evident from the moment you sit in her chair. What I love most about her is that she is consistent every single time, so I can always count on her. There are never any weird surprises and she really knows how to give beautiful layers. People stop me often and ask who does my hair, and I am so happy to share the jewel that is Bernadette! I have tried so many salons in the area, and none have been so trustworthy and consistent. No more weird choppy cuts, uneven lengths, cutting too much off, or giving me a totally different look than expected. No fried or brassy hair with color, because they only use high quality products. Actually, it seems my hair is healthier ever since I began seeing her 2 years ago, even though I am in my 40s and have started using color every 5 weeks. It is this trust that I would only place in her. I used to drive to NY to find a good stylist, when all along, Bernadette and the wonderful family that runs The Hair Salon have been right here in my town! I'm a lifer!

I am very concerned about the way I was treated at this salon today. I have been a client for over two years at least. I was a patron of Nicki but switched to Bernie when the Covid crisis arose due to limited hours for Nicki raising and teaching children at home. I was asked in at 10:00 time of appointment and color was put on my head. However Bernie was doing highlights on a client whose hair was waist length, a job which requires hours of time set aside in a professional manner. The color was left on my head for one hour and ten minutes and I politely asked for the color to be washed out...I do not care that I was told that having chemical left on head does not matter. It matters to me as I was being ignored. Then to exacerbate the issue, Bernie took a male haircut and left me waiting still. Her excuse was you wait in a doctor's office so.....poor analogy....My doctor is a professional who does not disregard any client/patients. This was a blatant insult to a client who has always been punctual and who has paid and tipped in a timely manner. Ignorant excuses in defense make the situation more negative for the establishment. I am very sorry that I switched hairdressers. Nicki had professional class. Loyal customers are invaluable. Professional ignorance is intolerable. Learn this imperative lesson.

Bernie was wonderful! I came in asking for an ombré, (dark root with a blonde melt blend) and that’s exactly how it came out. I left here today completely happy, and felt beautiful again. If anyone needs a pick me up, I highly recommend coming to this salon. Thanks for a stress free, amazing experience! Can’t wait until next time :)

These ladies do great work! The staff here is always so friendly and willing to help you with whatever your hair needs are! My stylist is nothing short of amazing!

Extremely disappointed with my hair. So bad that I didn’t even bother reaching out to have it fixed. I asked for even highlights, the only thing I requested was that they were not chunky. The hair stylist completely disregarded what I asked for, and put awful poorly placed highlights in. I have awful harsh lines that are not even and not close to my root - over an inch away in some places. Went home and cried after spending $150 on this.
