We absolutely live the LA Quinta Decatur. The staff always makes us feel right at home an welcomed with a fresh clean room. Honestly I've not experienced the horror stories as said above . The owners of property are the most kind people an we will always stay with them when we come in town . Sincerely Ced Malone

There hotel was messy when you entered the lobby.nVery low lighting.nI checked in anyway, went to room and inspected it and found it totally unsatisfactory. No cover on AC unit, nasty smells.nI went straight back to desk and checked out. I was told I would have to pay for room anyway. Not at all what I expected when I reserved online. I expected Better from La Quinta.

Bad experience. Water damage in room, and stains on the bed comforter. I immediately requested a refund. The receptionist was very nice, and understanding and promptly offer the refund.

I have always thought highly of the LA Quinta an its been my number one place to stay when visiting home in Decatur but this last visit with them has really blown me away I will never be back . The owners are so desperate apparently that they think it's OK to steal someone's deposit an act like they don't know what's going . I checked in an almost immediately had an emergency back home so I had to leave. I called the next day to let them know I had a emergency but would be back the next day for deposit bc my room was literally untouched nit a rag towel or bed was even touched . The guy that answer the call said my deposit money was in the office so I had to come the next day an get it well here we are an the lady owner us truly arguing with me not trying to provide me back InWith deposit but has no good reason as to why other than she doesn't have it or doesn't want to give it back very sorry businessship in my opinion
