Super 8 by Wyndham Montgomery I-65

This was one of THE worst hotel experiences ever! First, this weekend was apparently jam-packed in Montgomery, but I was visiting from another state with my hubby. The typical hotels that I know provide quality rooms along with service were sold out. Second, when I tell you that roaches do not even deserve to stay in that nasty building, I mean it! I have not gotten this upset in a while, except for law school several years ago. Third, my hubby and I ended up leaving to go to another hotel, the Hilton, which really looked out for us by allowing us to check-in immediately rather than waiting until 2p that afternoon when it was 7 am. Further, I purchased two rooms, and from the beginning, the foreign woman was acting strange and slow through the check-in process. To be honest, I should've turned around then. However, I was super tired and didn't think it would be that terrible. The second room was for my sister who was coming from another city too. Nevertheless, when we discovered the room's full condition, I had to call the front desk immediately...ohh, the call was made from my cell phone as the room phone was not working! The same woman from check-in tells me I should've called soon after check-in to tell her the room's condition. I immediately said it was 2 or 3a and the blood in the bed was covered up at the foot of the bed and my husband and I were getting bit by something not bedbugs, although it could've been, seriously. Long story short, the second room that I paid for was refused to my sister, so I am fighting that through my bank.nnLastly, a message to the owner...You need to be ashamed of yourself not only as a business owner but as a human being. Maybe you do not care because the majority of your clientele is black! However, I would like to say to my brown people that we cannot support businesses like this, and when we know better, we certainly do better! I would not even put homeless people in this location. Additionally, with everything going on in the world today these are the type of interactions that can make someone dislike or even hate (create isms) a whole race of people! My experience with these beings from India (most likely or Pakistan), it was soooo negative that I could easily say I am never dealing with that again but because I know better I would just hope to meet a better caliber of their people! I will never forget this experience, and this is only the beginning of my complaints. The management and greedy owner need to understand this was simply unacceptable no matter what country you are from!!!!!!!!

Easy access to the Interstate. Eager to fix minor issues to make our stay more pleasant. Nice big rooms. Renovated

Hotel rooms were fine. They were clean and smelled fresh. The rooms itself I would give 4 ⭐ However We arrived around 11pm and when we parked we were instantly approached by someone standing against the hotel wall. He came right up to us asking for money.nnLater when I went out to the car to grab something, another man yelled at me across the parking lot to wait for him to walk to me. He was yelling in appropriate comments that made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. So park near the lobby. I hope Super 8 will see this and install cameras or security outside ( I saw neither).

Nice people, room clean. But, ice machine needs cleaned.

Cleann, well cared for and the staff are polite. I would stay again if I come back this way.
