Quite place to think, hike, sometimes hunt if you have the right permits. I love the as deep woods on Lookout Mountain. Had to knock off two points because you have to buy passes or have permits to be legally there. My kids and I love to hike through pretty wooded country areas. Gets them out of the house and burning energy, and I'd love to take um back in there and see what we can find but, I don't have hunting liscense and with economy downturn recently (4 carpet industry anyway) I can't afford a parks pass or other permits that would gain us legal entry. So not for everyone. But those that have the needed stuff to be there and a will to go there. I say go for it. I bet there is some amazing deer in them woods, I hit one or 2 close to there every year

Great open space to hike and watch wildlife . The East Fork of little River run straight through this 780 acre Wildlife Management Area. Make the 2 mile hike back to a cool rock town
