A dated hotel but the rooms are very clean. Centrally located. The front desk clerk, I think her name was Jada was cognizant of our need for quiet time for we had a long travel time, so she gave us a quiet room.nnMy only complaint is the room does not have room darkening drapes, the curtains do not close for privacy. Maid service stopped by for fresh towels. A good stay.

My family was affected by the storm and there was no where to stay locally so we had to drive to Rome and look for a place to stay only to have a horrible experience. The room was dirty. The pillow cases had makeup and drool stains. The sheets had what looked to be “c*m stains”. My husband, daughters, and I went out to eat and when we came back our key didn’t work. After one night stay we decided to check out and leave. This morning I checked my account and saw they charged for three nights so I called to not to get a full refund but to get back for the nights we didn’t stay there. The receptionist was very rude and said their reports showed housekeeping recorded the room being occupied. Horrible horrible place!

The price for a Monday and Tuesday night was 173 dollars so I expected it to be a little nicer. They stuck me in a smoking room (or what used to be) and everything white was a dirty yellowish color and it stunk. Dingy is the word I would use to describe it. Found a baby roach in the bathroom which absolutely terrifies me so I was happy to be leaving that day.

Awesome place to stay if you're in town. Very helpful and polite staff. Very clean and tidy.
