Days Inn by Wyndham Cherokee Near Casino

The room was nice but the grounds needed cleaning up. Cig butts and trash laying around. Other than that it's convenient to casino too.

Not what I expected to be a hotel across the street from the casino. The hotel charges a good bit of money so you expect more. Sheets were dirty, bathroom not clean, sketchy people sitting around outside asking random questions. Looks nothing like photos. If you are used to traveling and staying in in nice places this is not it.

Had a reservation and checked in 10/16/20 with 2 friends. The 3 of us were on a 2 week motorcycle trip. The reservation was confirmed and included 2 beds along with a roll-a-way bed. Upon arrival the clerk stated no roll-a-way was available. His rude, non caring demeanor just made things worse. He stated there was nothing he could do. As Cherokee is an Indian reservation and a casino destination there was no vacancy at any of the local hotels we called. We had no choice but to stay at this Days Inn. We drew straws as to who would sleep on the floor. As soon as we got into the room, it went down hill from there. The room was filthy including torn furniture, stained carpet and less than clean bed clothes. It was pretty apparent that the room had not been Covid sterilized (in our opinion). We did have the appropriate materials to at least wipe it down. This place is an overall dump! Never back to this place. I did contact Wyndham and they acknowledged my complaint immediately. I did receive a form letter from the hotel manager (David Desai) stating they will take measures to ensure this will not happen again and hoping this incident will not stop us from visiting them again. You can be sure we will not ever visit them again. Please note that I/we have stayed at several Days Inn's throughout the East over the years during our many trips. Prior stays at other locations have been more than pleasant, not Cherokee. This review is only to advise other travelers. I do not want or expect any consideration from Days Inn by Wyndham.

Ok place for the money. Best is right across from casino

Good for an older hotel... clean... bed good... water pressure bad... limited parking
