Cumberland Police Department

My knife went missing and I believe an officer took it and my wall looks empty without it, please give it back if you have it. Thank you.

My experience with the Cumberland Police Department has been absolutely HORRIBLE.nI am a property owner within the city limits, I pay taxes and have raised my 7 children there. I have lived in and around the Cumberland area for the better part of my life (50 years). Yet every time, this is not an exaggeration, I have called the Cumberland Police Department they have either harassed me on my front porch ( Officer Booner) or they have completely neglected during their duty/following through on what they said there were going to do (Officer Gordon).nPlease if you don't currently live in this area, don't move here. It is not a safe place to raise a family, there is no protection unless you know someone. The oath to serve and protect, well that is only for a select few.... that oath IS NOT carried across ALL the citizens of the city. Two times now I have had a vehicle hit, one was parked and two of my sons were sitting still in the other, both times the other drivers were going the wrong direction on a one way street and their information (make, model, tag number, description etc. ) was given to the police department. The first time, the officer followed the driver to work and DID NOTHING at that point. No ticket, no citation, and no repairs to the truck she hit. The second time happened just Wednesday (5/11/2016) and the officer( Officer Gordon ) that is handling the incident lied to my boys and ex husband, not once but twice. This is an officer of the law.... if we can't trust them to do their job without being a respecter of persons, who can we trust.nThis in my opinion is deplorable... This officer used many excuses why he couldn't do his job (speaking on the phone 5:45pm 05/12/2016), but wanted to tell me the condition of my vehicle, as if he is a mechanic, he was also a correctional officer so maybe he hasn't figured out what/who he is yet.... don't know, however that should not effect the ability for me to have my car repaired to what it was before it was hit. If he gives this person enough time they can take care of the evidence and make it tougher for me to get resolution to this issue.nAGAIN, I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE FROM MOVING TO THIS AREA... BETWEEN THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS INEPT APPROACH TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE NUMBER OF PEDOPHILES IN THE AREA, IT IS NOT SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are absolutely horrible, My house got robbed a couple months ago and we called them and said are house just got robbed and wasn't sure if the people were still in are house or not and it took them 45 minutes to get to my house when i live 4 minutes from the police department.
