A jewel in Austin's Rosedale neighborhood, The Moore-Hancock Farmstead is not only a city, state and national landmark historical place, it is also a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat for our Texas critters. The architecture, wildlife, and native plants create a medley of nineteenth century Texas, right in the middle of twenty-first century Austin. An absolute must-see. Though the structure is not an open and working museum, it is clearly visible from Sinclair Avenue and West 49th Street.
