Living near Lockhart, we are not only fortunate to have a Montessori school - we have one of the BEST Montessori schools you could hope for! Trained Montessori guides of the highest caliber are here for our kids, and the school is true to the Montessori method - where they learn to think and be lifelong learners. My daughter is currently enrolled for her fourth year and we couldn't be happier. Academically, the school provides a solid education. As parents, we are so pleased with the developmentally appropriate expectations and challenges presented to our student. Our favorite part, though, is the friendships we've made and the way our daughter is thriving in all aspects of her life because of this community.

Lockhart Montessori is an amazing school! My child has been there for 2 years and is thriving academically and socially. She loves going to school! The teachers are caring and thoughtful, and create a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn and be themselves! I love that she's not only receiving an academic education, she is also learning life skills. We also love the music and science programs! It's not just a school for us, it's a second family.

Both of of my children attend LMS. A few of the things I appreciate about the school include the smart and caring staff, the focus on age appropriate independence, the natural setting, and the individualized pace which is integral to the Montessori way. A truly special place which my kids love.
