It was a nice night the beds were comfortable however the vending area is extremely small no snacks the TVs are small and we did find a drink bottle underneath the bed saying that cleaning isn't the best but it was affordable and I've stayed in worse, two stars for this hotel.
I work in health care I travel a lot and stay at hotels and motels , I don’t like big fancy frilly uptight places , I like to come n go as I please , safety is important to me as well as cleanliness, I have insomnia so I keep strange hours and work different shifts at work.At he Key West Inn in Cookeville Tn ,I have found the perfect place to stay , it’s small and has tons of character , Chris is usually always on duty , very helpful and hard working , this weekend was Valentine’s weekend I had to work but travelled with my boyfriend , i put in for my usual room , and when we arrived he upgraded us to a king suite rm for our stay , had a great weekend it was really sweet . Thank you again Chris and Key West Inn!!! ❤ufe0f
Staff was very friendly, check-in was great. The room was a bit dated, seems like they're in the middle of improving various aspects in stages. There were still marks on the walls from the prior counter around the sink, there were plates on the walls where old light fixtures used to be, holes drilled in random areas, but really it was only aesthetic things. Everything functioned great, the bed was comfy, location was pretty quiet. We would stay again.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable with what looked like new mistresses ( beautyrest mattresses) . We stayed two nights. Traveled for family Funeral in Baxter. Our room had microwave and refrigerater. Did not have coffee pot in room. Continental breakfast not open due to covid19. Over all was great price for two nights. Was very comfortable.
