Putnam County Clerk

I have known Wayne Nabors all my life. He is a Honest Christain Family and Church man. Very dedicated man to his church , family, and communities. His hires the best staff and they are wonderful people to work with always friendly and helpful. I love these people in my town.

There are a few women who work in this office that are very rude in person and over the phone the only one who is nice is the old women that is located by the entrance area of the business... this needs to be addressed as it is extremely unprofessional to treat customers like that. What a shame. Shame on this business for not taking this seriously

Wish they still did marriage and not just the marriage license.... I'm looking for somewhere to get married and no one does it in Cookeville anymore.... I don't want a big wedding I just wanted a courthouse or clerk wedding well that isn't happening.... Anyone know where I can get married???

When I had to transfer my title and get new tags for my vehicles, the ladies in the office were outstanding. I had several questions that were handled very professionally. In one instance, Mr. Nabors (Wayne) was actually covering the phones and lunch time so that the ladies could go together! He handled my call and processed my application. The only way you spoke directly to the Clerk of Palm Beach County, Florida was with a subpeona! I love Putnam County and Cookeville. Thanks Wayne and Ladies.

As a local business with 13 vehicles registered here every time I come in I don’t feel served ..... The ladies are not very helpful they always go back and talk to their supervisor ...... it doesn’t feel like I’m in Tennessee it feels like I’m in New York ..... I wish I could switch back to Overton county those people are awesome
