I don’t know if I can find the words to truly express my gratitude and appreciation towards this place and what it has done for my life. I am forever thankful to ARCH Academy for their hard work, dedication, and hope they have given my family. The staff here are extremely informed and educated about addiction, professional and passionate about the work being done! This place has truly saved my life.

When we first realized our son was in trouble and needed help we were lost and had no idea where to turn. The adolescent facility in our state was going to cost us $16,000 for one month and that was with insurance. How do you help your child when there is not a lot of services set up for them to get the help they so desperately need. We were referred to Arch and so the 7.5 hour drive started to get our son the help he so much needed. 77 days later and we got to pick up our healthy child and we were able to get back a piece of him we haven’t seen in a very long time. Arch was dedicated and so helpful through this entire process and has guided us in setting up all his aftercare needs as well. I would highly recommend Arch for an adolescent boy or parent looking to get their child the help they need to over come this disease.

My son spent four months at Arch Academy beginning in early April this year just after they had moved to the new facility. This was just as the COVID-19 pandemic was becoming a major concern and we were hesitant to send our son somewhere out of our control. Looking back I can't imagine our lives today if we had not made the decision to send him. We worked with Amara in the beginning and she was so understanding and calm with us. We knew that because of COVID we might not be able to see him other than on Zoom calls which was the case. Our family counselor was amazing. She clicked with our son immediately and after that each person we came into contact with made us feel like our son's welfare was their primary concern. We could tell that each individual had a passion for helping adolescents. My son was a bit difficult during the first 60 days it was recommended that his stay be extended. He was angry and many times refused to speak to us. They had more patience than anyone can imagine and slowly he began to accept his situation. The ARCH staff also focused on us as parents as well. They recommended books, ALON meetings as well as several parent counseling sessions via Zoom which taught us skills that we are now using with both our children.nI talked with David the nurse quite frequently. ARCH demonstrated from Day 1 that a facility could operate effectively even during COVID. My son had a fever one night and David called me several times a day to tell me how he was and called immediately when the negative COVID test came back. I was impressed with his caring and patience with me.nWe picked up our son after 120 days and watched him walk out as he said his goodbyes to the staff. He wanted to talk to each one. He even told us how great the chef was - and what a better cook he was than I am.nDuring the last month our son spent a lot of time working with Dean. As a family we worked together on what his exit strategy would be and found an amazing place for him to continue his recovery.nIt is almost impossible as a parent to give your child up to someone else even when you know the problem is too big for you to handle. ARCH made it simple and comforting. I am not sure my son would be alive today if we hadn't trusted the team at ARCH.nI absolutely would recommend ARCH to anyone with a child with substance abuse problems.

I went through Arch when I was 17 years old, not only did they help me turn my life around but they also helped me get my relationship back with my family. The staff there was so amazing. This place saved my life.

The whole staff at Arch Academy are a Godsend! From my first call with Amara, communication with medical and counseling staff, to the joyful reunion we shared with his counselor, we felt the care and commitment to our son’s recovery.nnWe believe their commitment to focusing on body, mind and spirit as well as the 12 steps gave our son the tools to take ownership and maintain his sobriety. He continues to thrive in his aftercare program at home. I do not believe he would be where he is without his experience at Arch Academy.nnIf your son is struggling to grasp sobriety, I highly recommend Arch Academy. They gave us our son back!
