Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga I-24/Lookout Mountain

My family and I live three hours away. We wanted to go to Ruby Falls and Lookout mountain, but unfortunately it was booked. The young lady at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable. She gave me a map and provided a list of other attractions in the area. She really exceeded my expectations of customer service. She willingly wanted to help. Her positive attitude really turned my weekend around because I walked in really disappointed. We definitely will be back!

We checked in on Friday 3/19/21. We had planned 3 day stay for my sons baseball tournament with our baseball team.nAfter we got up to the room and unpacked I noticed there was a small blood stain on the covers. I called the front desk and the lady asked if I wanted a new comforter or the whole bed changed, I said I wanted the bed changed. As soon as hung up I turned and the other bed had dried macaroni and cheese on it. At that point I could clearly tell that room had not been cleaned and I called back and asked for a room change. As I was packing up all my family's belongings my 10 year old pointed out a pill that was on the air conditioner. I remained very polite as I understand it was a very busy weekend and our room must have just gotten missed. I showed the lady the pill when she dropped off our new room keys and we went on our way. Nothing was offered as compensation and I did not expect anything.nI was happy with the room change. We got to our new room and I put my 4 year old's milk in the fridge and noticed it wasn't on. I turned in on and down hoping it would cool down and start working. We went and swam and came back to the room about 3 hours later and still.....no working fridge. I Called and asked if someone could come up and make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. The very sweet front desk worker came up and apologized and said I could store anything I needed in their fridge down stairs since they didn't have anyone on site to come fix ours. She said they would give a discount for the room for the inconvenience. I said that would be fine considering we had already had to switch room once. When I checked out on Sunday I asked the young man working the front desk to make sure our room was discounted. He looked over the acct, printed the receipt and said yes they have taken 20$ off. As I walked away I looked over the Receipt and nothing had been taking off. I was charged the full amount and I was just lied to. He knew good and well nothing had been taking off and he thought I wouldn't even notice. I went back up there and asked him to show me where anything was taking off. He called the manager to find out what to do. He should have done that before he decided to lie to me and not think I wasn't going to check my charges. I'm still waiting for charges to be adjusted on my bank account as the full amount in still in process. The guest services have plenty of room for improvement to say the least. We stay in Hotels and travel at least once a month due to sports and we will never stay here again.

My coworker and & stayed here last night just passing through on our way driving to Chicago. We were so tired and needed some rest after a whole day of driving. We stopped late about 1030PM. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Since the hotel was located ontop of a hill we asked how the view was since Lookout Mountain is to the left and she said fantastic, so she gave us a room that was facing it do when we woke up in the morning we could have a good view! That was so nice & thoughtful! The beds were super comfy & room was clean. They had a full breakfast which was nice especially since these weird times of covid-19.

this place is DISGUSTING I am sorry, but the room was dusty me and my friend had to CLEAN the lamps, remotes, and bathtub. Which, the bathtub was also disgusting. they obviously do not change the soap, and there was MOLD on the bathtub as well as terrible stains on the floors. But, the nescecities you NEED were pretty ok. like the fridge, microwave, fancy TV and GREAT view.

Great staff. Nice continental breakfast. Rooms clean. Short stay driving from FL to MI.
