Since moving hear over 2 yrs ago I have to say I have never felt as safe and protected. I have met the chief and his officer Teal. They are good people I feel like are friends, i can call if i ever need to , and this is reflected in the community. Thank you for your service to this beautiful little town.

I needed some assistance getting some information about a wreck. I called the Police department and the Chief himself helped me. I deal with LEO's all the time and I found it impressive the Chief would answer the phone and assist me.

Tried calling the local number to find information on local noise ordinance. Much to my surprise, no one answered the phone. I tried several times and still got no response. I certainly hope I never have need to report anything that isn't normally handled by 911 responders such as suspicious activity. I guess I will have to wait until it turns into an emergency situation first so that 911 can handle it. Seems the town of Pacolet is only equipped to handle major lawbreakers like speeders and people who run stop signs.
