Great meeting great speakers good breakfast received wonderful information on veterans benefits all are welcome
Good lunch, only if you are not in a hurry
A veteran prepares lunch there everyday from 10am until 2pm. Plates range from $8 to $10. The food is very good. Patty melt, burgers, hot dogs, philly cheesesteak, fried bologna and grilled chicken sandwich. Fish plates, salmon patties and vegetable soup. Some of the vegetables come from the garden located on the property. There is a nice museum upstairs and a ham radio club that operates on Thursday mornings at this same time. It's in an old rustic granite building built during the great depression by the CCC. Come by and check it out.
Food very good and affordable. Staff was nice and friendly. Going back soon for a tour.
