Wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Had to wait about 45 minutes but they are doing the best they can given the circumstances. Its a different world since covid-19 so everyone has to adjust to changes. No need to be angry or upset over having longer wait times, its not their fault. So make the best of the situation and enjoy the nice spring weather!!
I have sat here and burn gas twice to come to the South Carolina DMV the first time I was told that it would be a 2 hour delay and they were text me in 2 hours and let me know that I was next it was probably about a hour they sent me a text. I shut down here and now they tell me they can't take me I'm supposed to go to Myrtle Beach now I'm going to have to cancel my trip
I was actually quite impressed at how efficiently the Lexington DMV managed to dwindle down 50 people (at least the page I was directed to said I was 50th in line) in about half an hour which was quite great. They have become quite proficient in getting people in and out for their typical vehicle processes.
The lady at booth 16 was very friendly and extremely helpful this morning. Not only did she take care of the matter we went in for, but also went out if her way to make sure she gave us information we will need in the near future. Thank you so much for all you did, we really appreciate it.
