Holy cow! An wide assortment of instruments with helpful and insightful interpretation. Differently visit this place if you're a music lover swinging through Greenville.
The museum was amazing. If you love music, and history, this is the place for you.
This is an unusual museum that you should not miss. It has a number of educational displays and I learn something new every time I go there. Be sure to check their calendar because they have some outstanding musical presentations with fine musicians. It is conveniently located and near a number of other attractions, so there's a lot of other things to do when you visit.
This place is really neat. I especially liked that they had an app that allowed us to interact, and hear the instruments, since we can't actually play them. It's worth a stop.
As a piano technician, I find the work that Tom Strange has done to preserve our musical heritage to be absolutely outstanding. The collection is by far one of the best exhibits of historical instruments I have ever seen. I highly recommend this experience for all as well as attendance at one of their many events!
