This is a nice oft-overlooked little history museum. It's only open select days, but it's free and well worth the visit. My family loves it, including my children who have been going since they were 5 and 6. There are some really interesting artifacts and it's neat to be able to learn the history of Greer.
Amazing experience all around. I found it extremely interesting there are tunnels underneath so the postmaster could watch his employees.

Very small but nice display of history here in this museum. They offer many displays within the different eras from medical to farming, schooling and sports, WW1-2 and clothing from that time, examples from soldiers to womenswear. They also offer a small theater for learning with a film that runs. If you have any ancestors from this town and are looking for old photos if they were on a sports team at the high school definitely go inside and have a look!
