My first time to the Roper Mountain Science facility....and I had a blast. We took our granddaughter for the Butterfly Exhibit and then took an extended tour of the building. Lots of hands on opportunities to examine all sorts of nature elements made it exciting for an 8 year old and a 66 year old at the same time. The staff and volunteers were absolutely awesome and very helpful. Facility was clean and bright, ample clean restrooms and one surprise after another as we entered each area. We can't wait to go back for another visit and explore some more.....plan on a longer stay next time.

We love it here and are members. This is an awesome place with animals, an Observatory, a planetarium, the living history farm. Memberships are inexpensive, and you can get into Second Saturday, Starry Nights, and the Butterfly Adventure for free as a member. I love the Marine Lane and Touch Tanks, and Living History Frm.

Had a good time with the kids at Roper Mountain Science Center. They like the butterfly experience the most

Way more here than I thought there would be. A full day's worth of things to see and experiences for all ages

Roper Mtn Science Center was awesome. Though I wish we would have known it was mainly outdoors. Very chilly outside but was still a blast!
