I know this COVID is stopping many businesses from operating in full capacity but people still need housing. I haven't been able to receive anything from this office. I'm like many need help but even an answer from a message left after many weeks would be nice. I'm elderly, handicapped and need housing. Live with a friend about not to be after awhile. Hardworking people I'm sure but homelessness is hurtfu and worse.
I think my case manager must have quit cause contacting her is a joke. The one time I actually caught her IN the office she told me that she hadn’t processed my paperwork because she wasn’t in the office for a couple weeks! I could have moved in 3 weeks prior had she done her job!!! The girl at the desk is useless. I’m still waiting to get my paperwork with my rent amount on it & I moved in a month ago! They are inept & ill equipped to perform the functions of their job basically! A nightmare to deal with! Wish I could leave no stars!!
Greenville county housing authority needs great improvement, more funding for people in need and more resources

The Greenville Housing Office is in a great location. It has a comfortable waiting room and Unisex restrooms. The people who work there are knowledgeable and kind. It is a pleasure to meet and work with the team. They could insure that more measures are taken to protect the clients from landlord mis management. The standard for these homes are rather low and should be considered with more care.
