Yes. It is a speed trap. Yes they will fight you every step of the way. Their 800 person town doubles the speeding tickets of a 16,000 person city. SPEED TRAP. 6 points and $440 for going the speed limit.

It's funny to me that the ones complaining are the ones that got caught breaking the law. There is a speed LIMIT for a reason. Speed limit signs are visible and clearly marked from 60mph to 45mph to 35mph. Smh

Speed trap city. Currently undergoing a lawsuit. A town of 800 people generate millions of dollars in traffic violations. 3 miles over the speed limit, expect a several hundred dollar fine. Slow around corners, thats where the cops sit. Just look how decorated Main St. is and you will understand what their up too. Dirty cops.
