Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Norman, OK

If I could give this hotel a -10, I would.nnFirst and foremost I want to say that Brian was AMAZING and needs a raise like yesterday!!nnThe outside of this “Motel” ( that’s what the inside reminds me of) is VERY VERY Deceiving!! Out 1st room (we were moved 3 times) looked like something straight out of a jail cell. We were told that was the handicapped room and we received an apology by being put in there. I asked if all the rooms looked the same and was assured not.nnRoom 2. Very outdated and it looked as if the walls have NEVER been cleaned!!! There was dirt and smudges on the fridge and microwave. There was things knocked off the walls in the bathroom. There were holes and the wall that made me think there was bugs on the wall. Unfortunately we got in very late and didn’t feel comfortable trying to locate a different hotel with a 1 year old in tow. Didn’t feel comfortable getting under the blankets didn’t feel comfortable falling asleep. I finally called Priceline (will never use them again) in the early hours and told them I wanted to cancel the rest of my stay (we would be there for 4 nights) long story short, it was going to be to much of a hassle. My husband and I decided to leave it alone seems how we would barley be in the room.nnMy husband woke up with bites on him. If I can upload pictures they will be. The housekeeper told us that laundry had not been done and they only had 2 towels left for the WHOLE “motel”. They didn't even have the sack breakfast for the guest.nnThe second night we were moved in a queen double room. No better. The showers and either the second or 3rd room had hot water. I could keep going on but we finally decided to leave. Still have yet to receive my deposit back for incidentals although I’m not sure how they would tell if anything had been damaged or dirty.nnMy next contact is to corporate m. This place needs to be gutted and started over from scratch!!! Brian, thank you for trying your best to make us feel comfortable.nnBeware of staying here!! You’ve been warned.

Upon arrival everything seemed to be fine, we only stayed about 8 hours in our room to get some sleep before our flight. The rooms seemed semi clean. Upon waking up, I was covered in itchy bites. We had to discard all of our belongings that we came with. In total we lost approximately $200.00 worth of our things to protect our home and other travelers as we flew back home. This doesn't include the medications I have had to purchase and take in response to the bites. Needless to say we will not be staying with them again and we look forward to a response from their management.

The location was away from the heavy traffic routes, yet only 1/4 mile from the interstate highway. The area was quiet. The room was clean. There were very few other guests, even at the super-low rate.

Upon arriving, I noticed that the room to which I had been assigned did not have a hair dryer. When I inquired about getting one I was told that they were the kind that attach to the wall and they were all broken. I then asked if I could be moved to a room with a working hair dryer. About 30 minutes later I was moved. I arrived home after two nights stay and had a rash on my face, arms and legs. I went to the dermatologist and found out that it was due to BED BUGS in the hotel room. I have called and left messages three separate times asking that the Manager call me to discuss. To date, he has not returned my call. I will now be escalating this issue to those higher up at Radisson. Will not ever stay at Country Inn & Suites again and highly suggest you do not either.

Very clean rooms. Great service. Will stay here more often. Worth the money.
