I am not sure where to even start. The school is unsanitary. The halls smell like urine everyday! The principal is rude, and very disrespectful. The bullying that goes on in the school is unbelievable! So many parents have to pull there children/child out of this school. I am doing the same. I can't tell you how many times my child was bullied in this school and nothing has been done a about it. Very few good teachers at this school that actually care. The principal does absolutely nothing for her school. I've stood my ground and have tried my hardest to make this school OK by going to a principal who doesn't care, by going to the Wayne County Board of education as well. I hope after doing so this school has a chance but I highly doubt it. I am pulling my children out of this school. As in my opinion as well as many others this school is not a safe school for education. The only reason I even gave it one star is because it made me choose a star. If I had a choice to rate it with no stars then I would do so. I feel terrible for the good students of this school and the very few good teachers. With this being said I would not put my child/children in this school. Until it is under a different principal. Best of luck to the new students and parents of this community. My advice look elsewhere! -A very disappointed parent.

Mrs. Wolfe the new principal is an amazing lady. Her and her faculty are doing an outstanding job! I highly recommend Northwest Elementary and the great communities surrounding it
