Morrisville Elementary School

From my experience, this school puts a tremendous amount of pressure on students to perform well. Excellent students are encouraged by staff and piers. Teachers were very loving compared to the many other schools I have experienced. However, the students are very harsh and judgmental of themselves and others. It is a very pressured environment for high performance. Despite the no bullying policies, I was severely bullied here.

Great all year round school with before and after activities. Very supportive and children are well educated

The school is really neat and the teachers are really good at teaching and making my kid understand and makes her comfortable.

It is an amazing school my son likes it

I loved the actual school, I blame Wake County School System for the problems. I start out with the bad stuff. But this is for all wake county schools-- not just Morrisville.n1. Makeup Saturdays.nMakeup Saturdays are rediculous because you anyways get the work done the coming days after the snow day. Makeup Saturdays are made whenever a snow day cancels school. Even though it is only a half day, it's redicicolus. WAKE COUNTY, FIX THIS PLEASE!!!n2. Bad Lunch.nEven though some of their lunch is good, most of it is bad. I don't like the greasy foods that they serve to children when they are going to eat Lunch. Some classrooms even eat lunch at 10:30 AM or 2:15 PM! It's weird!nnNow, the good stuff, why I'd recommend sending your child to school:n1. Great systems.nThe systems that MES uses are great! Children who are interested can enter out-of-the classroom events! I also think that the coaches of those are quite nice.nn2. Great Teachers.nThe teachers at MES are very nice and have calm reflexes to the kids. You're child will learn a lot at this school. And plus, after the work, the kids get to have free time (education-related free time-- if 3-5). If K-2, it will be almost complete free time.nn3. Nice rooms.nThe rooms in the school are nice because they use enough cover so that they can make paintings and put pictures on the walls. I really like the design of the rooms!
