Maytag Laundry

Very busy, no masks, folding inside, waiting inside, I won't be back until have someone here to enforce safety measures.

Very bad experience, I didn't stay because the lady was very rude, I guess she doesn't know what kind of business she is working, she told me that I wasn't able to use the carts (only for clean clothes) and also that we can't fold our clothes there. This is ridiculous we go to the laundry to have everything cleaned and folded. I just move to the area and I was looking a place to do my laundry, we spend around $150 a month in laundry I will never go there I rather drive a little more and use my money somewhere else.

I own a business right down the road and have used this laundry place several times previously with no issues. This time coming here to bring several loads of big towels the lady working inside watched me like a hawk. I bring my towels here because I can fit them all in the industrial washer and dryers and for some reason she made me use a washer and dryer in the corner stating that my towels were to dirty. My towels had a few leafs on them from being placed on the ground most of which I got out. Well since it's Covid season and we can't wait inside I was sitting on the bench out front and the lady told me I had to move my truck because it was to big to be parked at front door! Needless to say because of this lady who can barely speak English I will never be coming here again. If I could do negative stars I would!

This used to be my go-to laundromat, as it has always been well-maintained and clean, with responsible attendants on duty.nAnd then Covid came along. At first, I was relieved to see that management had implemented sensible and reasonable measures to protect the health of customers and employees as much as is possible and practical for a public laundromat. Signs were prominently displayed stating that masks were required, laundry was to be folded at home, and that customers had to wait in their vehicles during wash and dry cycles.nUnfortunately, this didn't last. Two weeks ago I asked an employee to enforce one of the rules and the employee refused. As I was told by one of the owners (in a phone call in response to my Yelp review of the same day), that employee had recently been threatened with a gun by a customer upon being told that masks were required, and after that incident the rules became merely suggestions.nDespite that, today I reluctantly pulled up to give the laundromat another chance (washing clothes in the bathtub and wringing them out to be dried on an indoor rack is not fun).nThis time I didn't even make it inside. From the window I could see that an individual was sitting on one of the chairs that had previously been taped off, nonchalantly waiting on his wash. Of course he was NOT wearing a mask.nSo now it seems that NONE of the rules are being enforced, putting both customers and employees at heightened risk for contracting Covid. And just as disturbing, employees are now working in an environment where the sociopaths among us have learned that threats and intimidation will get them what they want. That is not a safe workplace, even without a dangerous pandemic.nI suggest that management protect their employees and customers by prominently posting signs stating that surveillence cameras are in use, and that the police will be called if a customer disregards the rules and refuses to leave premises.nUntil then I can't risk using this laundromat, and will advise others against using it also.
