North Rowan Elementary School

Want a review, here's for 2015-2016. I have 2 kids in this school, 4 th and 2nd graders. On the bus my kids were bullied came home with bruises every day from other kids hitting them, one day my 4 th grader gets off the bus crying and bleeding. Another kid a 5th grade sliced her arm open with an object. I call the school but my 2 children got in trouble for defending themselves. The school never would show the bus video or tell me anything about the other child. Find out from other parents this school this was not the child's first offense. The principal decided on the office to call my kids liars. That did not set so well with me. My daughters teacher was acting worse than any child I have ever seen and I myself was a teacher before switching career paths my mom had been a teacher for almost 30 years. I know about teaching and schools. My son called me after the visit in the office to tell me no one was in his classroom, I go back up there call log in my hand they called him a liar again!! My daughter was pulled from the school and put into another for her teacher not kids but an adult for picking on her. She came back for the end of the year with a different teacher. Her previous teacher tells the kids no one is allowed to look at her or talk to her. So who are the kids here? All year for my son I have had little contact with his teacher. This is second grade, she will only send dojo messages. I have messages to back up my story, they went to lazy 5 ranch for a field trip, my son was tossed off the back of the wagon ride because the teacher nor the driver made sure all kids are seated and loaded. As my son was the last to load the driver took off tossing him off. I never got anything from the teacher telling me anything I had other parents in the school telling me how a parent volunteers husband had to grab my son off the ground before getting stomped on by an emu. The teacher never handled anything with him other parents did! She never said anything to me until I asked her about it her excuse she forgot to tell me she got busy. I was told they are Suprised the way he fell he didn't break his neck and a arm and you forgot to tell me? No file was reported but I had spoke with lazy 5 ranch about it cofirming the story from the parents. I still thank the husband and wife for helping my son. 8 times this year my child had the privilege of taking papers to the office to hand in for his teacher. 8 times this year (2 in one day) I recieved calls from my son he went back to class but no one was in there. His teacher said she forgot to tell him they are going to the other side of the building not back to the room. The office told her it was all OK. In my eyes no it is not how do you forget to tell a year old your taking 23 other kids out of the room? I confronted the school about it, all the kids in the class recieved a book for a good bye present, my son out of 24 kids did not get one. He was told it's in the mail maybe it will be here tomorrow maybe Monday. If you know you don't have enough books why did the whole class not wait? Why was my son singled out and embarrassed in front of the whole class because I confronted you on your lack of adult supervision the day before? My son does not need the book I will be more than happy to go buy him one!! This is turned into the news station they are waiting on the go from me to cover the story, which they will get tomorrow now that I have the message from his teacher confirming she did tell him he had to wait for the mail before getting a book. Because my children were physically hurt at school and bullied at school by teacher and not supervised the right way is my reason for turning this into the news station. I would never wish for this to happen to any other children while attending school. I sent my kids there so they can learn not be miss treated!! Use caution if you plan on meeting your child to top this school please!! Thank you ~one frustrated and concerned parent~
