Rocky Mount Police Department

I recently attended a event in Rocky Mount and someone parked in front and behind us blocking us in. The police department told me to ask the event coordinator to make an announcement. Informed dispatch that I was calling the PD because I had already asked the event coordinator and she told me No, not even in between the musicians sets. Said that if she did it for me then she would have to do it for everyone. The dispatcher told me that there was nothing that the police department could do. Thanks for nothing!

I want to take the time to thank all of rymt police officers and deputies you have an incredibly difficult job and I admire u for what u do. I have one concern and that is all the cars I see everywhere n rymt driving with no headlights after dark. It's really dangerous I almost had an accident because of them.but other than that u have some great employees. I have met some really great officers especially one who came to my home when I tried to harm myself one time and I seen him later and he actually got on me because I was out walking around at all times of the night he knew I was off my psych meds and I wish I knew his name to thank him

I want to thank the Rocky Mount Police Department for their quick response on the morning of February 14, 2018. Our house alarm system was activated inadvertently and my wife and I were unable to respond to the security monitoring notification. The police were notified and within just a few minutes, a police officer was at our residence checking all the doors and windows to our house. Later, we were able to review this activity with our security surveillance video system. Officer Shan Battle was the responding officer so I want to thank him specifically. I also want to thank Officer Steven Ezell, or neighbor and off duty officer, for his part. I know this seems trifle to some, but I want the public to hear and appreciate the men and women in blue for their heroic efforts and even the little ones like this.
