Yes this school is new to the community and yes it has had to work thru the growing pains, but overall it is a great opportunity for students and parents who have a sincere understanding of what is important to the students education. We started our daughter in at opening day, and she is now transitioning into early college at high school. We are so proud of her and her hard work. It takes determination and commitment from all three parties, parents, school, and child. This school like all schools is going to have issues with all sort of things, and that is normal, but what makes it different is the pure integrity , willingness and commitment to do the right thing for the kids. This comes from the upper administration and that trickles down to the teachers that are doing the job with a smile on. Thank you Dr. L. for your contribution to our community.

Overall, ICA is a wonderful addition to our community and a great option for parents seeking an alternative to the Iredell-Statesville school district. It’s a relatively new school so it hasn’t accumulated the ratings and reviews it deserves. The teachers and staff are all committed to providing the very best education possible.

The curriculum is challenging to our daughter without being overwhelming to her. This was most important to us because she's a bright child. She doesn't get a lot of homework, but she does have the option to get more practice outside of school if we think she needs it. She usually asks for more time on the online learning programs. We also have plenty of opportunities for conferences with her teachers. So far, teachers and staff have been very responsive to any questions or concerns. We love the after school enrichment and other activities.

This is our 2nd year here and my daughter loves it! I love this school and everyone associated with it! We are like family and any concern I have gets addressed quickly with a resolution. I drive 25 minutes out of my way to and from to take my daughter here. AWESOME SCHOOL!

We have been very satisfied with ICA. My daughter enjoys going to school again. Her teachers are great and keep in constant contact through email. All the staff is very friendly.
