First thing as there will be a few things!
My son said he watched mrs. Bo the lunch lady drop food on the damn floor and put it back in the tray I know this is true by the attitude she gives to the kids and yes I’ve seen her attitude first hand! Second is the way the teachers talk to the children as if they don’t tell us how they act also my sons teacher had left they had a reading teacher teach his class and told him “just go to sleep I’m not a teacher so I don’t care what you do” omg I will not stand for this no longer I will be reporting this to the granite district director for review my son will no longer half to deal with her or the incompetence of this district.
My daughter loved Whittier and her teachers and the other staff. Mrs. Gaetz is amazing and my daughter now in 6th grade had her in 2nd grade and still talks about how wonderful she was. I helped with PTA activities but not "on" the PTA. I love the PTA and admire all they do for the kids. As a parent you should be involved whatever way you can with your child's school. The staff cares about the children and I love how they instill inclusion with the students. My daughter loved helping out with the special needs classes and I feel it helped her understand the kids are just like them they just need extra love and care. Whittier's teachers help instill thinking and questioning and love of learning. The students have been great and care for one another (this I saw helping with the talent show) and encourage each other (there are a few bad "seeds" but the good outweigh). Thank you Whittier staff, teachers and PTA for helping me raise my daughter. Much love!
This is a great school with caring staff members
i love this school so much. Its a really fun and cool school.
I can not understand the level of incompatance you have to deal with at this school. Office staff are not helpful.
