I’ve been coming here for almost two decades now; I absolutely love the place! From their side salads to their cheesy bread to their sandwiches and pizza, everything is good. The Bear Pie and Crazy Italian pizzas are among the best I’ve ever had. My family really enjoys sitting in the semi-private little booths. All around great experience!

Not a good first experience. Can’t say I’ll be giving it a second chance. $32 for a 11.5 inch premade cauliflower crust (I’m assuming due to the nature of it being perfectly uniform in size), 2 side (dinner) salads that had quite the selection of brown lettuce, and 2 iced teas. The pizza had an exquisite wavy hair specimen under my GFs slice. I had just finished my first slice and decided that was enough for me. Ended up leaving half of the pizza. We informed our server about the hair. Kindly asked her to remove the plate from our table. She did however come by to offer a free piece of dessert, which we graciously declined. No sign of management at McSalty’s. When we paid, the cashier didn’t mind to ask how our meal was. We still tipped 20%.nnI’ve spent 14 years in the restaurant/hospitality world. It amazes me that the doors to this establishment remain open considering the close proximity of other impressive Pizza restaurants near by.. hopefully management takes the chance to read and possibly work on a few things in this place.nnWe ended up driving up Glenstone to a taco truck (Tacos El Gordo) to salvage the rest of our appetite.

I am so grateful for their gluten free crust option. Being able to order quality pizza again has made my day! Their customer service was top notch and we were even blessed to meet the owner when he delivered our pies to our door! What an awesome local treasure. Next time you need a night off from cooking in this pandemic, skip the chains, support a local business and order from McSalty’s, you won’t be disappointed!

Not as good as the one on Sunshine was. But it is the last of the McSalty's. This Springfield namesake has stood the test of time to be reguarded as one of the best pizza places in Springfield. I always liked the style and decor of this house of fine Pizza.nnWithout a doubt the pizza crust is the best I ever had at any pizza place ever. It is so good!!!!

The meathead pizza is a must at McSalty's, it is always amazing and they have unique and wonderful pizza crust that makes the pizza like comfort food. They don't skimp on the cheese or toppings either, in my opinion its the best thin crust pizza in Springfield!
