I was on Tangier Island yesterday (a Saturday) for a day trip, and the History Museum was unfortunately closed. I have heard that it is a must-see while visiting the island, but from the looks of it, the museum is closed for the season.

Interesting informative museum with a helpful video and historical artifacts. Worth a stop at $3 entrance fee. Also seems to have one of the best gift shops on the island.

What a gem! The ladies on staff are absolutely wonderful.Can't say enough good things about my day trip to this Island with all its history and friendly people who live there.A must do or anyone, just make sure to wear your walking shoes and enjoy the peace and quiet,take time to meet and talk to the locals,WONDERFUL

A great day trip. The museum is worth the 1 hour 15 minute boat ride from Crisfield.
