Housed in a historic and well-preserved building in nearby Federalsburg (Maryland) is the Federalsburg Historical Society and Museum. The main purpose of the museum is to gather and preserve the town’s history.nnResidents have donated many items over the years; those items are on display and tell the story of the town from its beginnings to the present. You will learn about industry, events, and the proud people who shaped the town. The Historically Yours Boutique is also on-site.
This is a nice little museum with a diversity of interesting exhibits run by a group of dedicated volunteers. It also has a nice research room.
It's a wonderful place to visit and learn the history of Federalsburg, Maryland. The volunteers have put in the time and effort to make this an enjoyable Museum for everyone. It's worth the visit.
I gave it 4 star's it getting there not bad for small town.
Historical setting, lots of pieces of bygone era keeping the town's history in place for everyone to see. Neat place to visit. Kids would love the soapbox derby display.
